SUSTAINABILITY WEEK: Worm Farm In A Jar

Worm farming is another way to dispose of unwanted food waste and get a liquid fertilizer as well. Food scraps are placed in the worm farm regularly and special worm farm worms eat their way through it.

We're going to be making our very own worm farms using:

• Glass jars
• Gravel or pebbles
• Soil
• Sand
• Organic materials (i.e. coffee grounds)
• Earthworms
