Curiosity Club for Kids: Alternating Saturdays for each grade level: Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6

We are incredibly excited to announce our Curiosity Club starting in September! Our goal is to encourage curiosity, promote critical thinking, foster teamwork & communication skills and build confidence through creative problem-solving

Program Highlights:

Weekly Themed Adventures: Every other Saturday focuses on a new topic, from space exploration to ocean life, ancient civilizations to modern inventions.

STEAM Challenges: Kids will experiment, build, and create through science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities.

Story & Discovery Time: Engaging read-aloud sessions paired with interactive discussions and mini-projects.

Creative Corner: A space for drawing, crafting, and storytelling inspired by the week’s theme.

Mini Makers Lab: Hands-on projects using safe, kid-friendly tools and materials.

When: Every other Saturday, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM (September through November 2026);
->Grades 1st through 3rd will be starting Saturday, Sept. 12
->Grades 4th through 6th will be starting Saturday, Sept. 19

Cost: Free (registration required: email fullib@ncls.org or call 315-592-5159 and ask for Kami or Janelle!)

Every participant that completes all 6 weeks will earn a Curiosity Explorer Certificate and a special library surprise!
