On July 12th, Fulton Public Library hosted our first ever Color Fun Run 3k. We had 117 people of all ages and fitness levels participate, each one crossing the finish line covered in a unique combination of vibrant color! Starting at the library, participants ran around the bridges, down the path along the river, and ended at Canal Park by Oswego Canal Lock 3. On their journey, runners encountered three color stations, each staffed by our enthusiastic volunteer color throwers, where they were doused with bursts of colorful chalk powder. The 3k ended at the finish line with a snack table, photo station, and a first aide tent (which, thankfully, went unused!). The sun was shining, laughter filled the air, and it was the perfect day to promote literacy, health, and community.
